New Directors for Norwich Call Centre Signals Growth

Three new directors have been appointed by local outsource contact centre, OpenContact.  Robin Mussell is promoted from Head of Technology to IT Director and Peter Atkinson from Head of Operations to Operations Director.

The promotions mark a significant change in the company’s board as until now only family members have been on the board of directors.  Company Chairman, Ron Pollin, founded the business in 2000 and daughter, Fiona Temple, joined in 2005, subsequently being appointed Managing Director.

The company has seen significant growth lately, both from existing clients and new business and Chairman, Ron Pollin, felt that the time was right both to strengthen the board and reward the two new directors for their part in contributing to recent success. MD, Fiona Temple said “I am really pleased to have Robin and Peter join the board. They have been invaluable to me lately and I look forward to them contributing even more to the future direction of the business.”

Robin Mussell, (39) has been with OpenContact for 11 years and Peter Atkinson (33) for 6 years.

The company currently employs 48 people, which has increased from 36 in the last six months, mainly in its call centre in Sprowston and counts among its clients many local and national companies, including Go Ape, The View from the Shard, Harrod Horticultural and QD.

In a separate move, Rachel Pollin has also been made a non-executive director.
